Freedom, worldliness
Tender respects offered to the world.
I am not yet able, in a sense, to bring my fullest awareness of freedom to bear on my interactions as I step forth into the world. Just the same, I fail to bring my fullest awareness of despair. And so, stepping forth is tolerable. To acknowledge this “lesser” worldliness as tolerable is a humility. To not demand that it reflect the utmost truth that I have discovered is righteous. For, after all, to expect that I bring forth my utmost awareness and power into a world that I have not yet witnessed as fully glorious is to anxiously fix upon a yet-imperfect understanding.
Yes, Kierkegaard, it is like playing through a piece of music backwards. To discover joy through its manifestations, only to realize that it is its own source.
