I want to be totally unencumbered while improvising. Fortunately, I know what this means. Fortunately, there is a distinct feeling of this that I can orient myself toward. In light of a thought like this (as well as in light of reading Musil, Rilke, etc.), the palpability of orientations is completely enticing. It is a quality of life that I seek most highly.
One can write so as to let the words skim along, which traces a contour of consciousness/spirit; or to lay bare a logical unfolding; or to cover all the bases; or to share. The first is the most foreign to me, and the most enticing. One can improvise in this way also, display an attitude/orientation and specific content simultaneously, all in the arms of Spirit.
